French reader here. I'm usually a silent lurker but my fondness for Jay Cantrell's stories pushed me to ask for reviewer privileges. After more than two years of on/off, Paige Hawthorne's new story "Frontiers" motivated me to review again.
My interests are numerous and go from one spectrum to another : I can be seen reading fantasy one day and SF the other one. An short list with examples would be :

As for what kind of reviewer I am aiming to be, please be advised that you won't hear much about the grammar and the spelling. I learned the spirit of the english language much more than the word-to-word constructing. No technical score from me.
If you see a review from me, two reasons are mostly going to be why I will review a story :
- The story I have read has no review and it's a shame. More people should have the opportunity to have a pre-taste without losing a spot for the day (I'm talking to the non-premium users. I used to be one and won't go back to ten spots).
- I felt something true. Not rational, but true. That author made me feel as if I was part of the story. Not necessarily as the main character (I'm glad to be a bystander, a subordinate, an enemy sometimes) but as an active component of the universe created by the author. A floating consciousness like in "Hawk, the Stone Age Spirit Guide" works too.
I've talked enough. What are you doing here ? Go read. There's a treasure trove around waiting for you !
