The Ali Clifford Saga — a series by Morgan
These are all stories in what I call the Ali Clifford Saga. It's a saga, not a series. The difference is that -- to my mind, at least -- a series has the same main characters. A saga, on the other hand, is composed of books each of which has its own main characters. However, characters from other books in the saga appear in roles major and minor.

The later chapters -- those recently posted -- are, in effect, a book within a book with its own characters. The reasons for not making it a freestanding book are two. First, it uses many of the same characters. Second, and more importantly, it will clean up some loose ends regarding Kathy Carlson.
