It begins with Sarah waking up restrained on to a chair in a clinic. She soon learns that she has been mistaken for someone who embezzled a very large amount money. Her kidnapper has a bizarre plan for how she is to return the money. While it starts off as dark story, it is not.
This is a continuation of Sarah's Saga. It begins with kidnapping Sarah and her friends. They are delivered to a group who need surrogate mothers. This alien group is attempting to repopulate their ship but needs crew members with unique abilities. Per the information on Sarah's group, they think this group is ideal fit for their needs. Both groups are in for a surprise or two.
In Dóchas, the crew begins restoring the ship after over a century in hibernation near Mars. Several times, they come to the aid of friends on Earth, while avoiding letting their presence be known. They establish a settlement on Mars enabling them to build additional ships. Ships they will need to relocate to another solar system. A search is begun for a suitable solar system. Members of the crew organize a choir. They use the choir's music to introduce them to Earth's residence.
Sarah’s Saga part IV. The Golden Amazon family continues to grow. Additional ships are built and launched. The Beyond the Stars choir’s performances on Earth lead to greater interaction with several of Earth’s countries. The choir’s visibility leads to more people seeking to join the family. Their planet search results in sending an evaluation team to evaluate four planets as a possible new home. Their security is threatened by slavers and by those desiring access to their technology.
