Guy Thomasin is horrified to find the lump of debris washed onto the beach near his home is the body of a beautiful young girl! She has been horribly abused and beaten, then dumped into the ocean to hide the crimes.
This is only the start of what evolves into a romantic story, one I consider to be among the best I have read on this site. Please do yourself a favor and read it. Perhaps you will fall in love with this girl as I did.
I'm giving it the highest rating possible because I know this story is one I will continue to reread through the years. Superbly done!
