This is very good coming of age story concentrating on the hero's senior year in a private high school. I give it extra credit for not having football as the hero's sport. He is a swimmer.
It continues the story of Little Tony, LT for short, as he deals with his family's heritage in organized crime and his decision to get into businesses that are less likely to get him arrested. There is romance with two girls and enough sex to keep this story off the Fine Stories site. It has a good ending with a marriage and an opportunity to launch a sequel about the honeymoon in Italy.
I recommend reading the first story in the series, if you haven't already. It gives more background and introduces some of the characters. There are a lot of characters. There is some good food descriptions. You might want to read this after eating, or at least have a snack handy.
Plenty of story plot, let give it an eight, its easy to predict there is more to follow. Technical Quality is a ten. I thought I saw a homonym, your for you're, but when I went back to find it to tell the author his five proofreaders had skipped something, I couldn't find it. I didn't see anything else, unless giving credit to the proof readers counts. Appeal is somewhere between an eight and a nine. I rounded down to an eight because there is more story to be told and I don't want the author to stop now.
This is a very good story. Oops, I said that to start the review. If you read a better story this month you are looking at stories that previously appeared or are very lucky.
