As I have mentioned before writing is having to take a back seat at the moment. I have started Hard Winter 2 but we are having our own Hard Winter in the UK, the coldest winter for 30 years, maybe more.
Anyway I will post progress (or lack of it!) here.
Hope everyone had a good Xmas and New Year

I finally managed to get Cheating finished. A lot of other things managed to keep me from writing recently, nothing serious, just things that kept me busy. I am now going to try and attack Hard Winter 2 over the next two months or so.
It's just that over the summer writing had to take a back seat, due to a change of work, and 'we' decided that 'i' should move our kitchen around.
So for the last 2 months or so I have been very busy.
However I am now spending a couple of nights a week away from home and have just got back into writing again.
I have one shorter story 3/4 finished, and Hard Winter 2 has now been started again. So you should see something appearing in the next few weeks. I doubt if I will finish Hard Winter before Xmas, I am not going to release it until it is nearly finished.
Thanks to everyone that has enquired after me.

I have been busy at home since I finished Hard Winter, been doing some major building work. Writing has had to take a back seat.
I start a new contract at work next week and will be away a couple of nights a week so I will have some time for writing. I have a couple of short stories in progress and I think I will get one of these finished to get back into the swing of writing again, and then make a start on Hard Winter 2 (I have started chapter 1 book 2). As with Hard Winter one I will finish most of the chapters and then post them on a fairly tight schedule. I have plenty of twists and turns in the plot in mind so once I get started there will be plenty of action.
I will also do an edit on book 1 and repost for the benefit of new readers. If you have spotted any errors let me know. I do not want suggestions for plot improvements, wording changes etc. just errors, I have spotted a few myself, including a real howler in chapter 2!
I posted the last chapter of what will now be book 1 yesterday.
There will be a second book, but I will not be starting it for a few months as both myself and my editor have found hard winter to be a much bigger challenge than we realised.
I have a couple of shorter story ideas which I will no doubt post in the mean time.
I will try to do the same thing with book 2. Get most of the chapters finished, and then post one chapter every few days.
