I have one page (prologue) of a story named "The Seed". it was a obvious c/p from somewhere back in 2007, windows doc file. I'm looking for the author name and where I might find the rest. it's Sci-fi.

Here is the first four lines from the prologue.

Korlina looked up at the high councilor, her manacled hands jingled as she snarled her hate.
"Know this, I shall return and when I do I shall destroy this world. You have killed my family, nay you murdered my family and for that, I shall have my revenge. I..."
. "You don't get it do you Korlina..."
"Voron, I should have known you would have been behind this."

Am I missing something? Isn't that the plagiarised story recently posted to SOL then squelched?

Have a look at this thread - I believe it gives a clue to the author and names another site where it might be posted.

I don't know, i was just going through my archive of old stories and found some without an author name. i haven't read the story at the link as it was pulled.

It's quite some ways down the thread, but I recollect that the true author of the story did provide information in the thread leading to legit copies of the story. Well, either that thread or one of the others the thief started that day.

The story was originally posted many years ago, so your not having seen it when the thief posted it would not negate the possibility that this is the story.
