He must still log onto SoL at times because the last activity on his stories and his blog is in 2011 and he hasn't been archived or listed for imminent archival yet. So that means he's been on the site since Feb 2013, just not posting to his stories.

@jvoi2

What makes you think his stories are premium (paying) members only?
In related news, it appears that reports of the demise of http://storiesonline.net/a/Andrew_James_Gordon were exaggerated. (I clicked through vjax's "favorites" link).

There was a recent policy change on SOL, so that if an author has not logged onto SOL withing five years, the account is considered abandoned, and they are archived to free users, but still available to premium users. There is a new entry on the left column of the home page that one can click on to see stories that are in the process of being archived.

I think Vlad's point is that Vjax's stories haven't been archived yet. His stories are not marked as being for premier members.

jvol may be basing his statement on the fact that vjax's last posting was in 2011, but the evidence is that he has logged in sometime in the last five years.

There is an author who only posted in July 1999 and hasn't posted since - but has logged in within the last five years.

Yup.

I was probably more tired than I thought when I posted, initially I intended my message to start by "Maybe" >.
