Pengintopia gone?

victorecho

I went away for a week and in the middle of reading A Well Lived Life, and the author is gone! Anyone know what happened? Not archived, but vanished like he never existed. Did the Outfit finally catch up? WitSec? Enquiring minds want to know.

He is (or at least was) Penguintopia on the Clitorides Awards for the stories he wrote that won.

Maybe he is consolidating his stories under one pen name instead of using several different ones.

That was put together months ago. It's likely he changed is pen name since then, because the story link in the awards takes you to the story with the new pen name which is the file for the original posting but the new pen name on it. Thus showing it's the same story.

It's easy for authors to change their pen name, and also easy to have Lazeez move the stories between pen names if you want him to.

Michael Loucks - formerly known as Penguintopia posted a Blog September 23 that mentions the change.

Since Lazeez also is in charge of the Clitorides Awards, he can update the pen name that appears there even for entries of previous years if so requested.

True. but the author needs to ask, and it comes down if it's important enough to do since the story link still works.
