The Combat Wizard stories by GraySapien were about modified psi abilities, but it appears those have been removed.
I would also suggest Island Mine by Refusenik, who wrote Human Phoenix, but can't say more without it being a spoiler.

Ad the moment I can remember some stories that you can ad to this mix:

"Game world" from The Blind Man;

"Battlesphere" and "Cyborg" from Volentrin,

"Nanovirus" by cmsix,

and many, many more...

Does applied Darwinism in a closed environment over a few centuries count as genetic modification?
If the answer is yes, then the first stories in the "Family Volentin" series might be for you.

How about Space by John Wales?

Crumbly Writer

My currently posting story, "The Cuckoo's Progeny", features a whole group who's been genetically engineered. The story revolves around their attempts to discover who did it and why. However, it's not based around a single male protagonist.
