My lastest chapter of Code Monkey came out with a section paragraphs repeated on page one and a few paragraphs missing on page three.

For some unknown reason this happens occasionally. I haven't
found the cause yet. I keep trying to figure it out, but it's
very unpredictable, it's been impossible to pin down so far.

You've reposted it and I processed it.

Has anybody else had this happen to a posting?

Yes, and I simply relodge the same file and it comes out correct the second time around. I think it may be something as odd as a power drop scrambling some RAM while it's being handled or something similar - an event that shouldn't have an effect but does.

edit to add: I do a lot of posting, and have done so over the last decade. I've only seen this happen four or five times. Of the 62 stories I've posted on SOL they must add up to around 800 actual chapter posts, so 4 or 5 times in that is nothing.

I have no idea. I don't read the story after it's posted. I trust that it's what I submitted and formatted properly.
