Time marches on, as does life. The last two months I couldn't write because all my time was invested in building the foundation for my wife's sewing room addition to the house.
The good news is that, during those two months, Michelle and Andy processed a new book titled "The Palpable Prosecutor".
I finished the foundation last week and Andy returned The Palpable Prosecutor to me this week. I just spent the day doing a final edit and I'll have it converted to the format I can upload to SOL by the end of the week.
So, Monday morning I'll start posting it. It's 21 chapters long and I'll post two chapters a day.
Since the teaser is restricted by length, I'll tease you here in this blog entry.
Lacey Cragg is a high profile federal prosecutor who has been assigned a case in which the previous prosecutor was murdered. The prologue will make it clear who did that and the same people want her dead, too. Enter a retired Delta Force operator (named Bob, if you can imagine that) who happens to be at the right place at the right time and saves her life. From there he continues to affect her life in ways she couldn't have imagined. Nor could he, for that matter. It gets complicated but it's basically a coming of age romance. Except she's very late coming of age. Like I said, it's complicated. For those of you who like a slow buildup, this one's for you.
I hope you'll give it a try and that you enjoy it.
As always, my thanks to Michelle and Andy
And, of course, to all of you for reading.
