Just finished whimpering through the current chapter of LNDtH2. Don't know why I do this to myself. Or you. Or my characters. That's life.
On the other hand, there is good news. For me. You'll have to decide if it is good for you.
While I was in Thailand in March, I wrote another Pygmalion Revisited story titled "Mixed Media." I wrote it specifically for a submission to a publisher and found out yesterday that the story had been selected for publication. "Mixed Media" by Devon Layne will appear in the anthology, Lustily Ever After from A Two Dame Production, scheduled for release on July 15, 2016. The publishing contract gives the anthology exclusive rights for one year, after which time it will appear as part of the Pygmalion Revisited serial. In the meantime, since that story won't be available here for such a long time, I'm working on another addition to the serial that I'll post here in August or September.
Sophia Soror and Cherry Wild, editors and principals in A Two Dame Production, produced their first anthology last summer. A Slice of Sin made a pretty steamy premier production. I read it carefully before I wrote "Mixed Media" to discover that this anthology, targeted to women, was every bit as hot as the best works here on SOL. My advice is to savor it one story at a time!
Lustily Ever After will be an anthology of fairy tales and folk tales that have been rewritten with a twist. The publishers indicated that they definitely considered the myth of Pygmalion to fall within the purview of their rules. I'm very excited about the opportunity to be published in a respected anthology and promise that my stories will continue to be posted here on SOL--usually first.
Thanks for all your encouragement and support!
