Whew... the amount of research I had to do to get this chapter out was insane. Unfortunately, I now know more about Massachusetts high school football than I would ever wish to have learnt.
I still wouldn't back the quality of my independent research as such, given that I don't exactly know what I should be looking out for. Either way, I would like to express my appreciation to two readers - David Horning and Bil Cook - for answering all the football questions I had, and for keeping the football abilities of James anchored to reality.
There are so many story lines bouncing around my head as this story develops. The next few chapters will deal predominantly with college football recruitment.
