One thing I forgot to add to the last blog post - I welcome people's suggestions for scenes and events to add to the story.
Now, I've had the whole scope of this series pretty much fixed in my head for about 8 or 10 years; it will cover five books, and a total of 17 years. The major events are already plotted on the story timeline I have, so there aren't going to be any major changes to the story line.
But, having said that, there is still plenty of scope for lots of little scenes. Several people have already emailed me with suggestions, along the lines of "Do you think you could add a scene where x and y do such-and-such". In general, provided it wouldn't be out of character for the people involved, and doesn't introduce things that blow my overall plot apart, I welcome these. I'm not saying I will take each and every suggestion, and write about it in the next few weeks - but I am always looking for something new and different to add to the chapters.
