The new chapters have been sent to the Moderators for posting.
This week's chapters open with Mike and the other men there shocked that the old buildings have been replaced with new ones. Following getting the volunteers started with enrolling, he and Sergeant Chuang inspect the new buildings.
Later that morning several Officers appear to volunteer, but Mike turns one away as unsuitable. Even later, several more Officers come to volunteer for Ranger training.
Late that afternoon, a Captain with an armed platoon arrives and demands that Mike go with them to see the Camp Commander. The Colonel is upset that Captain Prapai wasn't accepted for Ranger Training. Chanthra appears to defuse the situation.
The following morning, Mike and Chuang visit the supply section to see about obtaining needed items. The Captain there refuses to issue them anything and sends them to Major Werachon.
The Major explains that there are few supplies, and that they will need a Thai Officer to sign for them. Mike and Chuang leave to find Captain Prawit who agrees to be the Unit Commander.
The next morning, the people who will be running the unit including the Officers arrive with their possessions to live in the barracks. Mike discusses the Master Training Schedule with the Officers. Later that day klong jars and water arrive, and they are soon ready to begin receiving the volunteers.
I have most of the story written now but much of the ending remains to be put in the computer and edited. More chapters next week. Enjoy these chapters until then.
