Being as immersed in the Naked in School universe as I am, I am dismayed by the misuse of the word "councilor" when it should be "counselor." I see it all too often in NiS stories.
From the on-line version of Websters:
Councilor: a member of a council.
Counselor: : a person who provides advice as a job : a person who counsels people.
So, a member of the student council might be called a councilor, but the poor soul to whom she unburdens herself over the frustrations of such a position is a counselor.
Just two little letters, but they make a big difference.
