Not really, but for some reason I wanted to use that title.
Actually things are progressing about as well as can be expected. My writing pace did slow in January, but I'm moving forward and hopefully will finish a book by the end of the month. At that point I'm probably going to write a quick short story centering on a day on Ishtar for Tiffany. I mentioned the possibility of doing this in the past. The advantage is that a brief 10K or so story can be written quickly. Of course it won't have much, but I'm not quite ready to write another epic centered on the planet.
And I tend to write epics when I write Swarm Cycle stories. I do plan on working on my latest one after I finish my current project, but I also have some other tales.
As for the publication of Lost on Jord. I found a cover artist and we've agreed on a sample sketch so I'm just waiting for the finished cover. I should see it shortly. Other than that the book is edited, formatted and ready to provide to Amazon's Kindle Publishing Service. Expect it to show up in the next 2 weeks.
After that, life goes on. I read a lot, goof off too much (finally tried the League of Legends game. It has too many players who obviously are lower life forms, but the game itself can be entertaining.) and in general survive.
