Firstly, for all the kindnesses, messages, and even a gift(!) sent by everyone after my little rant about score bombing, etc., my heartfelt thanks. It cheered me up and also restored my confidence in continuing to post at SoL.
Secondly, the future of Simon and Trudi is that their story will continue for the foreseeable future, and although I suspect my postings will continue to be erratic in terms of spacing, this may improve a little from here on out.
Thirdly, having investigated the option for monetising Simon and Trudi through Kindle and Smashwords, I find that they would be lary or altogether unwilling in publishing their story as is from SoL, the age of Trudi being too problematic for all kinds of reasons. Consequently, my next writing task it to take Trudi 1 and re-imagine it with an older Trudi so that it can be published, hopefully within a month or so, just in time for Christmas ebook spending.
So, there you have it: I'm thankful to those who restored my faith in the readership at Sol; I'm still publishing here; and I'm also hoping to announce a mainstream version in the not-too-distant future.
