Many things are happening in my life. Most of them are mundane, but they delay writing. I'd like to say that all I do is write, but I actually have a life.
That is, in fact, where most of the ideas I write about come from, so having a life is a good thing.
Serendipity - Version Bravo is finished. What that means is that the first draft is written. Now I need to tweak it and then I'll spell check it, and then I'll send it to Michelle. After she sends it back, I'll send it to Andy and then you guys can finish the editing job after you read it.
But first, I have to go out of town for fifteen days.
What I'm saying is that while I appreciate your patience in waiting for it, you're going to have to be even more patient.
It's up to you. I recommend finding something fun to do, because being impatient about it won't make it come any faster. Think of me like road work. It's a pain in the ass while I'm working on things. But eventually the road is nice and smooth and fun to be on. You also can't make road work go faster than it goes.
Then again, don't think of me like road work. I work year round. At least the road crews leave us in peace during winter.
See you in late October.
