I had a wonderful couple of days' worth of comments. Dozens, all but one positive, several wanting to discuss the inclusion of Amy and Duncs into the Community, something that neither Duncs nor I had plans for when we went into this thing. He and I have gone back and forth, and I guarantee it will be interesting.
I also had dozens of comments on my friend's gumbo recipe. I find that there are displaced Cajuns all over the world, and there are people who're anxious to try the recipe on their own. Go for it! Cajun cooking isn't rocket surgery. The first gumbo I remember eating at my great-grandmother's house was cooked on a kerosene (paraffin for my friends across the Pond) stove. Nope, no wood. Wood is rather scarce on the prairies of South Louisiana.
Anyway, I managed a chapter of Kimberly along the way, and somewhere in the middle of their happy world travels, Jo and Stoney are going to show back up, and I'm quite happy in my little universe.
