Tulsa, Oklahoma Territory
United States Attorney General William H.H. Miller
is met at the station by Marshal Eli Crow upon his
arrival in Tulsa. The attorney general has more than
one reason for being here.
Eli invites him on a tour of Crow Ridge by horseback
and the attorney general gladly accepts.
As Eli shows him the cattle ranch, the oil fields, and
the drilling rigs, they have yet to talk about his reasons
for being in Tulsa.
"Eli, you have all this and yet you still want to be a
"William, it's what I was born to do........"
