Thanks and a new story

First off, my heartfelt thanks to all of you who voted for my story during the Clitorides voting. I am honored that you awarded me that honor.

While I am probably the most humble author you know (teensy bit of sarcasm there) I will tell you that next year I hope to leave you more than a single story to nominate. This is not to say I think any given story should be nominated. There are some I'm selling that I think are pretty good, but I'm not complaining that they aren't eligible. The point is that I am very happy that a lot of you like my work and I'm not going to be falsely modest about that.

We don't get to be proud of a lot of things in life, and you kind folks have given me much to be proud of. So thank you.

Now, I may as well kill two birds with one stone and use this blog entry to also let you know about a new story I'll start posting Monday, the 21st of April.

It is called Take Your Daughter To Work Day - Version Bravo. Unlike other Alpha/bravo/etc versions I have posted before this, the alpha version of this story and the bravo version are not actually related. That is to say they are not different versions of the same idea. True, they are both about taking your daughter to work, but that's all they share in common.

Well, now that I think about it, there is at least one other thing they share in common.

The point is that I don't want you to think you're going to read another version of the Alpha story. You're not. This is a completely different story.

Some of you may remember a while back I did a blog entry asking my Catholic readers for some assistance.

That was for this story. It was a long time back, which should give you some idea of how long some of these projects can take.

But for all of you who answered the call, way back then, you will now finally get to see what resulted from all that discussion about nuns and convents and so on and so forth.

I must tell you that I do not claim to have stayed true to strict Catholic doctrine in this story. I framed the characters the way I did using lots and lots of license, but I did it to make the plot work.

So if I got things wrong, please don't send me email telling me where I got things wrong. It's just a story, and it's intentionally fictional and just for fun. I'm not poking fun at anybody's religion, nor at any church or denomination.

This is a fairly long story, so I don't know how long it will take me to post it. I usually decide where to stop, each posting day, based on cliff hangers, as many of you have moaned and groaned about. To be quite honest, I don't know how many cliffhangers there are in this one, or where they are. So you may get two chapters one day and one the next and three the next. It just depends on where it seems is a good place to stop for the day.

I can tell you it will be posting every day for at least a week.

So I guess that's it for now.

Thanks again for the honor you bestow on me. I will try to make you as proud for voting for me as you have made me.

Bob
