Living with Frustratoin

I know that most people reading this just want to hear when my next story will be complete, and sadly the answer is that I really don't know. My writing output since late January has been less than 1000 words per day and that means a story I was hoping to finish in 2-3 months at 3000 words per day becomes a 7-10 month marathon writing session. So I have a lot more writing to do.

I do have one project that might start getting posted soon. It's a joint work in the Swarm Cycle Universe that I have been writing with Anne E Mouse. We think we'll start posting in 1-2 weeks on that, but I cannot guarantee anything. We're still talking about it and deciding if we have enough written.

As for a reason, the funny thing is that anyone who saw my output drop last year in March/April would find that the reasons are the same. I work for a company that has very, very, very, very (repeat ad infinitum) stupid management. We are having the same problems this year as we did last year, and once again they are deliberately avoiding looking at the real reasons. Instead they are going to manage to drive the few good people they have out of the company. It's suicide for the company, but they just don't seem to give a darn. Needless to say I'm one of those looking to bail, but I won't get a golden parachute so I'm trying to find a soft landing site first. It makes it hard to relax and get into the mood to write.
