Well, this is it. Tonight I'll upload the last two chapters of "Redtail." I sure had a blast writing this story, and before you ask, I'm trying to figure out a sequel of some sort. It will probably be a next gen kind of thing, but I haven't got it worked out yet.
I'm hoping to get back into my writing now that I've finished "Arlene and Jeff." Finished, meaning that I've caught up with the most recent chapter RoustWriter has posted. Frankly, I've been escaping into that story for the past few weeks and have ignored everything else. Last night I got back to writing "The Props Master Prequel: Behind the Ivory Veil." I intend to start posting that by the end of March.
I want to express my sincere thanks to all of you who have purchased the Kindle or paperback version of Redtail. It's stayed pretty constant in the top 50,000 on Kindle (out of 1.8 million) for the past three weeks. Thank you for that kind expression of your support for my writing. You can see all my published books at my Devon Layne Author Page.
Wanted to mention also that I met my faithful editor, Old Rotorhead, this week on my travels. We had a great chat together, even though we were both limited in the time we could spend. I'm now approaching the Louisiana State Line north of Houston and headed East, so if you are between me and Key West, let me know and I'll stop for a beer when I'm coming through in the next couple months.
