This week with Arlene and Jeff:
...Pointing to the wall by the door, "There are the range rules. So let's get started on them." Arlene wasn't satisfied until Bridget could quote the rules and demonstrate the correct procedures. Then Bridget got to dry fire one of the .22 caliber revolvers until her trigger finger was tired. By the time she fired her first round, ball and dummy, she was so bored that she forgot to worry, flinch or jerk the trigger. Consequently, the round hit next to the X on the close target. Overjoyed, forgetting, she almost turned with the weapon still in her hand, but Arlene's hand on her shoulder stopped and prompted her. Opening the cylinder, Bridget put the weapon on the drop-down table inside the shooting station before turning to Arlene. "I hit it," she said, laughter coloring her voice. "I actually hit it."...
Have a goodun;
