The herb lady suggests that they ride with the manure collector to check out the warehouses. While riding with him, Ken and Kell learn some interesting facts.
On returning to Hickory Hill, there is a discussion on what they have learned. The following day, Ken and Kell arrange to take the Charles Town and Savannah teams to their ports to check out the warehouses and meet their contacts.
On Monday morning, they go to Manchester Virginia to check the warehouses near Richmond. Thomas reveals some interesting facts along the way.
That afternoon, they prepare to meet Thomas's contact in the middle colonies. He lives in the village of Towsontown outside of Baltimore. Kell reveals some interesting information about Towson in their reality.
All of the locations mentioned in these chapters actually exist or existed at the turn of the 18th century.
