The new chapters have been sent to the Moderators for posting.
This weeks chapters open with Carl explaining to Seamus why it took so long to open the Portal. Carl soon joins his Sisters at the cabin the O'Keefes are in. Talk there quickly turns to Magic and after that to the O'Connells search for Mates and the makeup of their family and clan.
The O'Keefes explain about their Parents and their farm. After Seamus arrives in the cabin, they go to the O'Keefes farm to retrieve what they can from the burned buildings.
They return to a very busy fort. Supplies have arrived through the Portal. Seamus is soon ready to return to Fort Washington with most of the Rangers and the O'Keefes.
Following dinner, Carl and Eileen return to his room. She is very shy and not ready for sex. They spend a very quiet night
Chapter 28 opens with Seamus and his team going to Hickory Hill to introduce the O'Keefes to the rest of the family. Following dinner there is a walk to show the O'Keefes the grounds of Hickory Hill. Eileen is nervous and insists that they return to Carl's room for sex.
Seamus takes over the narrative after that. He covers things until the middle of October when trouble returns. A rider brings news of a Shawanoe attack in Indiana along the White River then. His Miami allies are incensed at this news and agree to guide him and the Rangers to the site. Once there, Seamus takes the other leaders to see what they are facing.
On a personal note, it has been a very frustrating week. We thought my computer was fixed when Eric, my computer guy, found and replaced a bad RAM stick. This proved not to be the case as it quickly died again. We thought it fixed several more times before Eric finally tracked down the real problem on Wednesday night. The computer has been working for a day and a half now and seems all right. I didn't lose any stories but have a lot of work to put in it as I continued working while it was down. I do everything on paper first so could do that, and did research on my laptop, which does not have any of mu stories on it.
Enjoy these two chapters. More next week, as long as my computer holds out.
Keep Well, uncle jim
