I've got twelve edited chapters back from Old Rotorhead and I'm working on getting them coded for upload. That means I can load all the chapters for September-October to be ready to post. The time is drawing near.
I want to take just a moment to thank all the wonderful people who sent emails to me at the conclusion of "The Prodigal." And for those who doubled down on my writing and went to Amazon or Barnes & Noble to buy the eBook. Aside from a measure of personal satisfaction, these are the only material rewards that a writer gets from stories posted on SOL. And they are enough. It is gratifying to know that in some way my little story has touched so many people. Thank you!
I'm currently in Reno, moving out to Fernley, NV this afternoon for a couple of days before heading south again on Monday. I had some water system problems in the trailer and had to come to town to get them taken care of. Great service at Sprad RV.
I'm also writing a series of fictional adventures that take place while I'm on the road. I've been trying to decide how to release them and think I'll start an "On the Road" story and simply post when I come up with story ideas. Each post would be complete in itself with a different cast of characters and may not follow the order in which I actually travel to places. The postings would be pretty sporadic, but each would have a close encounter. I probably won't start posting this until November or so. That way I can have a few written before I start lining them up.
That's it from sunny (this morning) Reno!
