I wanted to take a moment to recognize some of the enjoyable serials I've been following on SOL

1A. The Prodigal by aroslav

It's hard not to include this without mentioning Model Student and Triptych (and Triptych Interviews for that matter), so I didn't. :). This series has been an incredible joy to follow. The characters are amazing and their (inter)relationships have been fascinating. Just a wonderful mixture of coming of age and romance within the complexities of a polyamorous relationship. The author mentioned that the last chapter of The Prodigal will be posted tomorrow, so I wanted to be sure to include this on my list. If you haven't read the series, I greatly encourage you!

1B. Lightning in a Bottle by Sage Mullins

Another amazing romantic story with engaging characters. In this case, within the context of a "Do Over". Pat O'Malley is a wonderful character and you'll enjoy meeting his friends and family as they make some amazing music together and more importantly, live life. Check this one out!

2. A Fresh Start by rlfj

A bold and unapologetic "do over" featuring a complex protagonist and the people in his life. Well researched historical/political study. mixed with humor, love, sex and friendship. Well written and conceived. Another one to check out if you haven't.

3. Sibling Magus by TechnicDragon
Third in a series of excellent stories. So far, this one is shaping up to be equally good as the others. An unloved everyman college student discovers magic and love, while encountering a mystery that could lead to great danger to him and those he loves. Well written and paced, chock full of interesting and sexy characters. Check it out!

4A. Trying to Be Normal by Crumbly Writer

While this is a reworking of the story, I'm including it because it is slightly different and the next story in the series promises to be very interesting. It would be a good idea to read An Unknown Attraction first. What happens when a rather shy High School kid is worshiped by grown adults? It makes for an awkward school life, I can tell you. Good thing young Alex is a caring young man. Like these other stories a joy to read.

4B. Lady in Red by Harddaysknight

Another fun-filled romance/adventure. Steve and Gwen and their families and friends are magnificent characters. You'll enjoy and thrill at their wild adventures together. Action packed, funny and poignant at times, it makes for a fun read.

4C The Return Journey by Clansman

Another sort of "do over" story (though the character has another identity). Just a sweet romantic story of how actions not only have consequences, but can lead to a happy new life and how one person's love can mean everything. Hasn't been updated in a while, so I'm really missing it.

Honorable mention:

Beth 6 by Svengali's Ghost
The Spark by Zoras
An Unremarkable Town by Wild Willie
Gary & Ginger by Jessy 19
Arlene and Jeff by RoustWriter
Flight of the Code Monkey by Kid Wigger

Recently Concluded Gems

Tatyana and Southbound by Coaster 2
Jake's Dream Come True by Billy Ray
Somewhere in Time: A Trip to Waco by MattHHelm

I'd also like to mention how happy I am to see cmsix writing again. I'm looking forward to more of his fun and crazy adventures!

If I haven't mentioned one of your stories, it's probably because my health is causing me to run out of gas... now that I think of it, there are others I've read but just focusing on the one that have come to mind and wanted to recognize them.

Thanks all!!!!!!!!
