Hope you all are having a great summer. Mine has been educational.
Been extremely busy, but have been making notes on the HP sequel. I'm using a great little app called Evernote to dictate my notes. That may, or may not, make things easier <G>.
Rereading Human Phoenix has been an eye opener. After only a year of writing, I can now find so many errors. The first quarter of the book is riddled with point of view errors.
Additionally, in what was supposed to be limited third person, I continually slipped into omniscient.
Chapters aren't organized correctly and scene breaks are completely lacking. Part of that I blame on the serialized nature in which I published, the rush to meet page count, but mostly it was due to inexperience.
There is some solid stuff in there and I'm happy I wrote it.
The sequel won't be nearly as long as the original, but I think it will wrap up the story nicely.
I appreciate your patience and you can look for the sequel to be published sometime this fall.
