Summertime in the South

Hi all,

I have received several requests for a writing update and so here it is:
My writing is going well but at a leisurely pace. I have been enjoying the summer with fishing, camping, and the great outdoors in general. My home has been a bed & breakfast for the relatives, which I had not expected. I was hoping for a quiet summer. My original intention was to have a story ready for editing by the end of summer. Intentions are good, but never carved in stone. I have written and scrapped, and written and scrapped, several times before I had an outline and basic direction that I liked, and yet I am still tinkering with it, at the expense of the overall story. I kept adding to the prologue till I thought it felt right, and yet I am still not sure. I have a larger than normal prologue and 5 1/2 good sized chapters complete, about the size of the chapters in BotR. I am telling two major and two minor storylines at once, all merging into one story later on. I liked having BotR completed before being sent to editing, and will continue that trend. I am not sure if I will be able to keep my self-imposed deadline or not but I promise to keep you better informed. I will have another update the middle of August.

This looks like the last story in the Saga of the Rose, although I have said that before, and I am trying to make it a good long one.

I hope this finds my readers well and satisfies their curiosity.
