Seems like Melodic Redemption is resonating with a lot of you guys who've 'been there'.
Being a veteran myself, I understand all too much. This story is an emptying of sorts for me and I see from a lot of comments that some of you recognize what Stoney is going through.
Some of us understand why it's not "Happy Memorial Day": Our memorials are all too real faces who we stood alongside, friends who are forever young while we grow grey and old.
And also, with that emptying, I remember some of the love and the caring that I received that got me past some of the dark times.
As always, thanks for the comments. If I helped in some small way, then I am far more than happy as a writer.
