Real life continues to roar down on me like that locomotive in the tunnel that everyone notices just before it runs them down.
At work we finally finished Q1, but came up well short of the insanely high sales target set by our corporate masters out of the Middle East (who want to sell the holding company that owns my place of work.) And to make it even more interesting my immediate boss turned in notice. Once he leaves I'll probably end up training a 6th boss in 3 years. (we've had a lot of turnover.)
So while I haven't forgotten Crisis, I also have done very little writing. The mental burnout level is a bit high at the moment. I'm hoping the fact that we survived Q1 and have a solid plan for Q2 means that the pressure will come down, but it doesn't seem likely just yet.
