Well, you guys got two things this week. With luck, you're happy. Knight Takes Princess has the score it deserves, as it is a silly little tale. I may well steal from it later, much as I probably will do with Amy Day. For now, it is what it is. If nothing else, it reminded me of how easy first person is to write, and why I don't do it. It also showed I can draw readers, so the lack of such for Magic of Bells is still the after effect of the cliffhanger hatred resulting from Magic of Life.
Speaking of that tale, I haven't even started on the next chapter. I will, don't worry. It's getting settled in my mind. As you may imagine, it's all action and stuff, things going boom. I just haven't been in the mood to start. I'll probably just have to force myself to get the first few lines down, and let it go from there. Figure out exactly where to enter the story again.
I have started, though, an unnamed gay romance. Actually, not completely gay, as while the start deals with two teen boys, the third female member of their trio will show up eventually. Talk in the SOL forum about how gay stories get slammed in the scoring, readers only wanting nice romantic m/f or f/f stuff, had me thinking of going there. I've had gay characters, although no actual sex scenes. I was going to in Bells of Tanah, putting in a hook for that plot line, but the characters paired off differently and it didn't happen.
So, anyway, that will probably happen at some point. Maybe. I like it, so unless major problems develop you should see it eventually.
