I have received some rather wounded emails from readers lamenting my decision to end Madam Jillinghoff's Bedroom Rhymes. Well, fear not. I'm still getting ideas, and the project will probably never really be over. I have decided, however, that I prefer to see the words "The End" after the most recent verse, rather than "To Be Continued," because, as far as I am concerned, the collection is always complete at any gven moment. Since there is no plot, and the individual bits don't relate to one another, it can stand on its own whether it has 50 poems in it or a hundred. Think of it as complete but ongoing, finished but open-ended. And this way, if I die tomorrow, it will never be labeled "incomplete and inactive."
So check back from time to time. I will also be announcing new additions in the blog.
But, seriously, I have to get back to prose.
