The fun thing with short stories nobody is going to read, of which I've done two now, is watching the score. With so few people reviewing it, you get odd results. For example, A friend in Dream has my only 9 tech score, which made my editor very happy. The new one started off with four votes of 10. Could this happy trend keep up?!?
No, naturally not. Now the story is threatening to drop below a 7.
Ah, well. It's not surprising a story written for the nursery school set isn't getting high grades here :)
