This morning Madam Jillinghoff's Bedroom Rhymes broke 30 with the addition of Tickle Game. It's a throwaway, really, but it's an extension of a real rhyme my mother used to tell me when I was little. She would recite the first two lines while actually tickling my knee, and I would try not to laugh. I have added four lines in what seems to me like a logical progression. I went through a number of variants before stumbling over something I liked, including much more explicit or intentionally funny endings, but I prefer what I've come up with. It preserves the innocent tone, but it's still kind of creepy.
