Release notices for my new detective mystery have been sent

I sent out notices to my mailing list this weekend regarding the release of my newest noir detective novel. I sent them to over 200 SOL members who have contacted me over the past nine months to encourage me, praise The Art & Science of Love, Model Student, and Triptych, and/or to bitch about what I was putting my characters through. I've really appreciated that contact. You helped me through a very dark time in my life.

Well, if you're into darker stuff, my new detective novel could be for you, however, I won't be announcing the title or author here on this forum. I try to keep my identity as an erotic romance writer separate from my identity as a mystery and thriller writer. This work is completely separate and unrelated to anything I've posted on SOL. So the only way to get the announcement is to send me a comment.

What you should know: I started writing erotic romance last December just at the time that I finished the first draft of the new mystery. I started posting here specifically so that I could (at least mentally) write "happily ever after" at the end of a story. Don't expect that to be the case if you read my detective fiction. It has humor, some romance, a little (non-explicit) eroticism, and a lot of emotion. But I'm really not kind to my characters when I write mysteries--either the protagonists or the antagonists. Keep that in mind.

If you are interested in the announcement, send feedback to this post or to any of my stories. Just remember that I can't send you the info if you respond anonymously.
