I'd like to thank those who have provided feedback on SDAMT during the submission process - confidence boosters and insight into parts of my work that could be written better are always welcome. The latter, in fact, is one of the reasons I've came to SOL rather than remain on a single site... an attempt to gather a greater amount of the somewhat scarce feedback on my work, and how to make it better. I don't have any aspirations to becoming a professional someday, a mainstream author, any of that, but I do seek to improve my writing skills and while high ratings and compliments give me a warm, welcome, happy glow inside (thanks again on that!), thoughts on the actual work help me determine how to make it even better in the future.
The future - There's already a sequel of sorts to SDAMT in progress, with all of one chapter and most of a second in a 10 chapter story completed, and I'm looking for insights about SDAMT beyond the the basic technical merits - stuff like plot, plausibility, appeal, and other intangibles that make people say "I like/don't like this story."
So, open invitation - drop me some feedback, tell me what you think. Constructive criticism is welcome, and while I can't promise that I'll take every last bit of advice (authors have squicks too!), it will be considered, because I'd rather not waste your time, or mine by asking for advice I won't take seriously.
