All right. I guess that pretty much says it all. Chapter 9 is up.
As you read this chapter, I am in the process of drafting what I think is the last chapter in this first story of Tony, Lissa, and Melody. They've faced some huge challenges and Tony has grown a lot, battling down his depression. If anything, though, he's got an even bigger challenge ahead of him in the next book as he juggles 2 degrees, 2 colleges, 2 kids, and 2 wives. I can hardly wait to start on the next volume!
The first book is close to 130,000 words, which is about twice what this genre will support on the open market. As I get ready to take a week's break in Reno in April, I'll be trying to figure out if I should split it into two books for the commercial market, or ruthlessly edit it down until my editor says stop. I don't know yet, but readers here on SOL will always have access to the latest version at no charge. You've made these books possible and I don't forget.
I'm also working on a new draft of "The Art & Science of Love" that will be released on Amazon, hopefully as soon as April.
So keep letting me know what you like and what you don't like. I appreciate all the encouraging comments that I've received so far.
Oh! I don't mind anonymous comments. I don't get so many that it's a nuissance. But if you want to debate something or ask a question, leave me an email address I can respond to. I answer all email that has a return address.
