The Son of New Revisions

More updates to older stories for this week! Today I revised and updated "Rockin' Robin" and also "Toys for Toots".

Lots of typo corrections and even a little bit of story and dialog tweaking. Both are older stories that never received much if any attention at the time they were first posted. In fact I don't think either story has over 1000 reads! Both have a great deal of humor in them (sometimes subtle) and both stories in fact were based upon people I knew (sometimes well) in real life, although some details were changed to protect the extremely guilty!

'Rockin' Robin' was supposed to be a funny commentary about hyper-competitive couples and cheaters (male and female) who always think the grass is greener just across the lawn. The story was a lot of fun to write, but almost no one cared or even read it. It's always been one of my lowest score stories and I really don't know why.

'Toys for Toots' never even generated a single reader email! For years I had a finale comment that upon request I could continue the story... but no one cared either way. Meah! I love Toot's character and someday when I write a serious novel she's going to reappear as a secondary character. She's spunky... and not entirely in that way either.

New chapter of 'In a Secret Garden' will be posted for early Friday. Chapters 3 and 4 are off at editing. Chapter 5 is starting to give me an ulcer... this has been a weird story that hasn't wanted to entirely follow the nice organized little outline that I laid out for it. My muse keeps wanting to turn the tale into a stroke story and so far I've deleted more pages of text than I've actually added the last couple of days! I think the story is back on track again now!
