Penn State Students Raise $10.68 million
The Penn State IFC/Panhellenic Dance Marathon was held this past weekend at the Bryce Jordan Center. The student run fund raiser raised a record $10.68 million dollars to support the Four Diamonds Fund. The Four Diamonds Fund supports families of children with cancer and to funds research to cure cancer.
Thon is entirely student run. It began as a small weekend event in 1973 and has grown astoundingly over the past 39 years. This year's money brings to total raised to over $88 million since its inception.
