It's hard to believe that it's been ten months since Oceania posted. Since then, I've spent time on a number of writing projects but only one ever came to fruition.
"Too extreme" and my favourite "overstrains the 50 ton crane I use to suspend disbelief" were amongst the comments that I received for NMU. After a weekend of introspection, I felt inclined to agree, and my writing focus has changed as a result to reflect them.
The next story is called "Never Too Late", and tells the contemporary tale of a man who discovers his wife involved in an affair with a work colleague and rather than confront her, seeks solace in the arms of a young university student.
Beyond that, a science fiction novel called Future Perfect is also complete and being edited. Hopefully this will be ready to post by the time that NTL is completely uploaded.
Work is also underway on two further SF projects. An alien based plot called Symbiosis that I started earlier this year, and a sequel to Oceania that currently has the working title 'Oceania and Beyond."
Both these should hopefully debut sometime next year.
I've posted the first couple of chapters of Never Too Late and the remaining 16 chapters should appear every couple of days and be all onsite by early November. As always, I look forward to hearing your thoughts and comments on what I have written.
Finally, I'd like to thank Don (b4lurker), Jack(Timer123) and PCbondsman for their editing skills and critical observations on my most recent story.
