I'm happy to say that I am back to writing. For the last month or so my father has been randomly going into a minor non-responsive state. Fortunately they changed his medication, and now he seems far more stable than he was. I hope now there are no more three AM calls which send me to his bedside to pray that this isn't his time to go.
On a happier note; I have very nearly finished a short story set in the old west. (During Broadcloth Jim's middle years) The story introduces a deeply troubled hero who at ten was a drummer for Lee's army at Gettysburg. Jake Snow is not your usual hero as you will soon see.
Also, if anyone has any idea where I can find common phrases in various foreign languages it would be very much appreciated. Especially German, Chinese, and most importantly any info on obscure African tribes would be most appreciated. (the more war like the better) I will give credit to any who assist me in the research. I have waded through massive amounts of data, but none has been satisfactory so far.
Many thanks to all
