It's a daunting moment for an aspiring writer to unleash his first story upon the world, wondering how it will be received and if he has done everything possible to give it the best chance in life.
Readers are probably all too aware of how many prospective authors start out with the best of intentions then disappear into obscurity, perhaps leaving the legacy of unfinished work in their wake.
I'd like to start by assuring everyone that Oceania is fully complete and that only the last few chapters remain to pass through my editing team. I intend to publish a chapter every couple of days and hope to have all thirty chapters available on the site by the end of January.
On the subject of editors, I'd like to extend my profound thanks to EzzyB and Jack (Timer123) for all their time and effort ridding the story of many of the typos and grammatical errors. Editing thanks also goes to Deadly Ernest and Sheepdog, and to Vampdragon and Don (b4lurker) for proofreading.
A special mention for Don, his sage advice and reassurance throughout the editing process prevented me from giving up and going home on more than one occasion.
