Facebook situation

Several people have invited me to be friends with them on Facebook. If you are one of them, or anticipate inviting me, there are a couple of things you should know about that.

First off, I never paid attention to Facebook or Myspace because I thought they were time sponges. I spend all my free time writing, and I thought if you had one of these social networking pages you had to talk to each and every friend every so often or terrible things would befall you. And I didn't have time for that. Besides, I'm old and not all that tech savvy.

For that reason I ignored invitations to be friends on Facebook.

Then one day Peaches wanted to show me some pictures but they were on Facebook, because she is young and tech savvy, so I had to establish an account so I could go see her pictures. I try not to hurt her feelings whenever possible.

In the process I found out a little bit about Facebook and realized that it's not as time intensive as I thought. At least it doesn't have to be.

So I actually have a facebook acount.

The thing is, it's not associated with the email address I use for feedback at SOL. I save that address only for SOL related business. I established it under another address, which is the one where I get jokes and stuff like that. And prodigious amounts of spam.

So, if you don't mind all your other friends knowing you have a porn author as a friend, you can invite me at that address and I'll respond.

I'm not going to troll for friends. I understand perfectly if people out there don't exactly wish to advertise the fact that they read what I write. And it's only fair to tell you that, at my Facebook page, my website is listed as a link.

But mostly my Facbook page is for fun, which means there are mostly interesting non-pornographic related pictures there, along with witty things that some of my readers say.

So for the dozen of you who invited me to be friends in the past and felt like I snubbed you, I didn't. OK, well I did, but now I've changed my mind. OK?

Actually, I got edumacated and am'nt so stoopid inny more about whut Facebook are about.

So, if you still want to be friends, just send the invite to the following email address:

I feel so tech savvy now!
Isn't this fun?
This is even better than high school!
