COMING SOON - WILD FIRE -

I've had a lot of mail recently asking if I'm still writing,
and if so, when I plan to post a new story, or add onto
an existing story of mine.

Yes - I am still writing and though the good stuff is
hard to come by - just like good whiskey, I do have
a few tall tales started.

I wanted to tell you about one of my yarns - the
one in which I'm most involved at this time.

If you're a reader of my tales, you know that I love
westerns. I love horses too, and I love seeing the story
unfold as I let my mind drift back to take one more
ride along the dusty trails of years gone by.

As I ride, I try to describe the trail in front of me in a
way that hopefully, you can see in my words, what
I see as I ride. I love giving you bits of information
about the horse I'm writing about, so you'll not only
see him, you'll soon know all about his temperament,
his heart, and his spirit.

And now - I'm going to spin you a yarn about a horse.

A wild horse, born in the Wyoming wilderness in 1840.
But this story is not only about the horse, and the
many life-threatening events he endures just to survive
in the wild.

It also tells a story of young love, in which this horse
becomes entangled, when he is befriended by a
fourteen year-old Half-Breed Indian girl.

But without a doubt, you'll know from the get-go, that
this wild horse is my hero - and the hero of my tale.
You'll only meet a handful of people personally, including
the Half-Breed girl, who plays a major role.
