This is an update for my readers. I haven’t had much time to do much writing lately. The doctors have been successful finding the right combination of medications and my health problems are stabilized. However, much like some of my plots, life has had a few other interesting twists for me. First I moved to Georgia, and then got married to a wonderful lady. If that wasn’t enough, since both of our families live in the Midwest, we are in the process of moving to Indiana, about thirty minutes from either of our families. Two moves in a year and now with the repairs the house needs I haven’t had any time for writing. It has taken a couple a months’ just to get the new house to the point where we can actually live there. (I found black mold in the walls). It’s still more like camping out than actually living in a house and we still have one more trip to Georgia to make, for the rest of our stuff, but we are getting there. So be patient with me a little longer. My life will soon be settled enough for me to start writing again. Personally, I can’t wait!
I just posted a short story. Just a little proof that I am writing again. I'm sorry about Accidental Commander. I haven't given up on it. I just haven't found the inspiration to work on it. At least not enough to have a complete chapter yet. Other stories are in the works and I will begin posting them as soon as they are finished. I just don't want to leave anyone hanging again.
I first want to wish you a happy holiday season, regardless of which you celebrate or even if you don't celebrate at all. Next, I had hoped to post a new chapter in December, its not going to happen. Annual blood work revealed some additional health problems and it seems all my time and energy is going toward addressing them. I am feeling better, I just haven't started writing again, YET! I hope the new year brings more ideas that I can share with you.
A new chapter of Acdidental Commader is posted. I hope that answers the question as to whether I intend to continue the story or not. I do but it has been tough working on it lately.
I haven’t given up on Accidental Commander. It started with real life not allowing me enough time. Lately it was more of a creative block. I had to work around the plot corner I had painted myself into. With some help from my friends at mIRC I have a way to proceed.
That doesn’t mean that the story is flowing easily. I consider myself lucky if I get a couple of paragraphs out a day. Other “unposted” stories are still flowing well. Once I bring the first book of A/C to a close you will be seeing them. The good part about that is they are likely to be completely finished before Accidental Commander.
If that happens, I will begin posting the finished ones. That also means that once I start posting them, you will get to enjoy them from beginning to end without the long waits in between. I hope that your holiday season, which every you may celebrate, brings joy to your heart and hope for the new year.
Just know that I will post new chapters to A/C when I can. I apologize for the long time in between each post. This story has just become difficult to work, though I can’t explain why. I hope that adresses the questions that have been asked.
