I've submitted chapter 37, and I'll be honest. I'm not thrilled with it. It isn't bad, but I am not as happy with it as I have been many other chapters. I'm not as happy as I could be I suppose.
What does it need? I have no idea. I've read it a dozen times, made a hundred minor changes. Yet, it's still missing something, or does something, if not wrong, then just not as well as I'd like.
I know that's a little vague, and I expect you will feel much as I do, that it just lacks something. In the mean time, I've given it over, and am moving along to 38 and beyond. Perhaps I'll be happier with those than I am with this one.
